As well as managing Around the Bend’s Social PPC campaigns, we also developed and implemented a broader social strategy for the driving school. Before we started, their Facebook had 4,500 likes, low levels of engagement and no cohesive content strategy. The task was to increase the organic reach the brand achieves on social through increasing the follower count, build on the brands tag line “The UK Driving School You Can Trust”, and increase the amount of leads that the Facebook page generates.
Whilst the social PPC campaigns increase the amount of likes a Facebook page has over time, the growth is slow. To combat this we developed strategies such as competitions and engaging content to bolster the follower count. At the time of publishing, we have increased the amount of likes on their Facebook page to 30,000 which has resulted in a higher engagement rate and a higher number of new potential clients seeing the driving schools content.
Given the amount of time you spend with a driving instructor when learning to drive, trust is an important part of the research and buying process for customers. Around the Bend are a highly trusted driving school, with a fantastic pass rate. To build on this, we made it a priority to focus out attention largely on the reviews section on Facebook. By doing this, Around the Bend have gained 545 reviews which is more than any other driving school in the UK.
By implementing a cohesive strategy focusing on the above, the Around the Bend Facebook page attracts a lot of attention on a daily basis. The large number of visitors the page receives, results in 60-80 organic enquiries every single week. Around the Bend have recently employed a new member of staff full time, just to look after the profile.
